Your Arrival

Once you’ve made it to Graz, you’re almost here. No matter if you’re travelling by car, plane, or train – it’s just a short way to go. If you’re in the city centre, you’re practically already with us. And rest assured: at Hotel Weitzer, even the most exhausting journey will be forgotten in no time. Perhaps over a drink at our cosy fireplace lounge bar.

Arrival by car

Take the A2 or A9 motorway and exit at Graz-Zentrum. Simply follow the signs towards “Zentrum” – or let Google Maps guide the way. As a direct booker, you can park your car in our City Garage Weitzer for € 25 per day. If you haven’t booked directly with us, the short-stay rate (up to 9 hours) is € 3.50 per hour, and the daily rate is € 31.50 per 24 hours. The charging fee for our e-charging station is € 0.075 per minute.

Please note: parking tickets can only be paid at the ticket machine in the garage or at the exit gate by credit card. The ticket is required for garage access, the e-charging station, and exiting the garage.

Travelling without a car? Most places are just a short walk away – or, for our more active guests, we recommend taking one of our bikes!

Parking for direct bookers

When checking in, you’ll receive a discount ticket – giving you two possible options:

Single entry and exit:
Taking a break from your car as well? Wonderful! On your day of departure, simply insert your parking ticket first – and then your discount ticket – into the payment machine and follow the instructions. A 20% discount will be automatically deducted from the standard rate, leaving you with a fee of € 25 per 24 hours. You can complete this process either at the payment machine or directly at the exit barrier.

Multiple entry and exit:
Prefer to stay flexible? Then simply convert your parking ticket at the payment machine into a day ticket (daily maximum after 9 hours) – or, if needed, into a multi-day ticket. After that, you can enter and exit the garage as often as you like. On your day of departure, insert your parking ticket first – and then your discount ticket – into the payment machine. A 20% discount will be automatically deducted from the standard rate, leaving you with a fee of € 25 per 24 hours. This process can be completed either at the payment machine or directly at the exit barrier.

Arrival by train

Arrive at Graz Main Station, then take a taxi or tram line 1, 4, 6 or 7 to the stop “Südtiroler Platz/Kunsthaus” as well as line 16 or 17 to the stop “Bad zur Sonne/Stadtbibliothek”. Arrival by plane

From Graz Airport, take the S-Bahn from the station “Flughafen Graz-Feldkirchen” to Graz Main Station. From there, you can either take a taxi or tram line 1, 4, 6 or 7 to the stop “Südtiroler Platz/Kunsthaus” as well as line 16 or 17 to the stop “Bad zur Sonne/Stadtbibiliothek”.
There is also an airport shuttle service operated by the Graz public transport company, running from the airport to the stop “Griesplatz”. From there, it’s just a short walk along Griesgasse to the hotel. For more information, please visit www.graz-airport.at.
