GOOD TO KNOW
The public Citygarage Weitzer is located right next to our hotel. Simply follow Grieskai for about 30 more metres and turn right at the blue sign. You’re welcome to unload your luggage in front of the hotel first – we’ll be happy to show you the way once you’re here. You can get your parking ticket directly at the entrance.
A 24‑hour ticket costs € 31.50. Our guests pay the reduced rate of € 25. Reservations are not possible – but also not necessary, as the public garage usually offers plenty of spaces.
For electric cars, five parking spaces with 11 kW Type 2 charging stations are available (on request and subject to availability). Charging costs € 0.075 per minute.
We don’t offer a valet service – after all, you know your car best. And besides, the garage is almost a little sight in itself, complete with its own art installation along the driveway.
There is an ATM directly at the hotel entrance under the glass passageway.
Of course! Our dedicated reception team is available around the clock – 24 hours a day – to offer you advice and assistance.
Yes, there is! You can easily access the internet via WiFi in all hotel rooms and throughout the entire hotel – from the lobby to the seminar rooms and restaurants. We make no secret of the password. It is: Weitzer8020.
You can enjoy our delicious breakfast buffet in the Engelreich – just as heavenly as the name suggests – daily from 6:30 am to 10 am, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays even until 11 am. There is also the option of à la carte breakfast at Kaffee Weitzer until 12 noon.
Oh yes, and one of the best in town! Just walk out the side entrance of the hotel, turn left around the corner and you’ll find yourself in front of our restaurant, Der Steirer. In addition to delicacies such as the best Styrian fried chicken far and wide or seasonal Styrian tapas, you’ll also find a fantastic selection of wines. And an incredibly charming atmosphere that even the locals can’t resist. So: make a reservation!
Der Steirer is open daily from 11 am to midnight, with hot meals served continuously from 11:30 am to 11 pm.
During their stay at Hotel Weitzer, we offer our guests the following complimentary services: various daily newspapers at breakfast, access to the rooftop sauna and fitness area, a city map and the use of our umbrellas (for a deposit of € 20).
On request, we can also provide an iron/ironing board and a tea set including a kettle in your room.
On the fifth floor, you will find our gym with a unique sauna on the roof of the building. Throughout the day, you can tone your luxurious body on the treadmill and other equipment. Or simply work up a sweat. The latter is also possible in our rooftop sauna from 5 pm to 11 pm. Towels are provided on site, bathrobes are available to borrow, and slippers are available for € 3 – both can be obtained from reception.
Yes, of course.
For our laundry service, we work with a reliable external partner who is available Monday to Friday.Simply bring your laundry to the reception by 9 am – we will take care of the rest.
If you would like to iron your clothes, we are also happy to assist you: on request, we will provide you with an iron and ironing board in your room.
Bicycles and e-Vespas are available for hire at reception. For just € 10 per day per bike and only € 35 per day for an e-Vespa, you can whizz through Graz like the wind. Or if you feel like heading north or south, simply cycle along the “Murradweg” cycle path, which is right on our doorstep. We will lend you a bicycle helmet or Vespa helmet free of charge.
Smokers are very welcome here! However, in order to ensure the well-being of all guests, we ask that you refrain from smoking in the hotel, in the restaurant Der Steirer and in the rooms. If you would like to smoke during your stay, we recommend our rooms with balconies, where you can enjoy your cigarette in peace.
For safety reasons, our fire alarm is very sensitive – and it cannot distinguish between cigarettes and e-cigarettes. We charge a basic cleaning fee of € 70 for smoking in your room and € 650 for triggering the fire alarm.
A separate question and answer is dedicated to the topic of smoking. This includes a reference to our fire alarm, which also reacts to excessively hot steam in the bathroom. Please be careful not to create too much hot steam when showering with the bathroom door open, as this will activate the fire alarm. A triggered fire alarm with a visit from the fire brigade would cost you € 650.
Have you left a few small items at home? We’re happy to help! You can find toiletries, snacks, drinks and much more in our 24/7 microshop in the lobby of the Dream Machine rooms.
In our restaurant, or rather in the “Steirer Shop”, where you can purchase many of the best wines in the country, for example. We also offer our wonderful Daniel and Grand Ferdinand soap and lotion at reception.

Yes, absolutely! Your furry friends are very welcome here. We charge an additional fee of € 18 per night per dog. Two bowls are provided in your room – one with fresh Styrian water and one for your dog food.
Thanks to our location right on the Mur river, there are wonderful places to walk your dog, and the extensive Augarten park is only a short walk away. In Graz, dog waste bags are available free of charge, and there is a handy dispenser right in front of our hotel on Entenplatz.
However, we ask for your understanding that the breakfast area remains dog-free and your pet must chill in the room during this time. And should an accident happen and your dog decorate our walls or carpets with creative “free art stains”, we reserve the right to charge for the additional cleaning costs incurred.
