The public City Garage Weitzer is located right next to our hotel. Simply follow Grieskai for about 30 more metres and turn right at the blue sign. You’re welcome to unload your luggage in front of the hotel first – we’ll be happy to show you the way once you’re here. You can get your parking ticket directly at the entrance.

A 24‑hour ticket costs € 31.50. Our guests pay the reduced rate of € 25. Reservations are not possible – but also not necessary, as the public garage usually offers plenty of spaces.

For electric cars, five parking spaces with 11 kW Type 2 charging stations are available (on request and subject to availability). Charging costs € 0.075 per minute.

We don’t offer a valet service – after all, you know your car best. And besides, the garage is almost a little sight in itself, complete with its own art installation along the driveway.

There is an ATM right at the hotel entrance, beneath the glass passageway.

Yes, there is! In all hotel rooms as well as throughout the entire hotel – from the lobby to the meeting rooms and restaurants – you can easily connect to the internet via Wi‑Fi. And we’re not keeping the password a secret: it’s Weitzer8020.

You can enjoy our heavenly breakfast buffet in the aptly named Engelreich every day from 6:30 to 10:00 am. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, we even serve it until 11:00 am.

Prefer to take it slow? You can also enjoy breakfast à la carte at Kaffee Weitzer – served until 12:00 p.m.

Oh yes – and it’s one of the best in town! Just step out through the hotel’s side entrance, turn left around the corner, and you’ll find our restaurant “Der Steirer.” Here you can enjoy local favourites like the best Styrian fried chicken far and wide, seasonal Styrian tapas, and an exceptional selection of wines. All served in an irresistibly charming atmosphere that even the locals can’t resist. So: book a table, book a table, book a table!

Opening hours: daily from 11:00 am to midnight, with hot meals served continuously from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm.

During your stay at Hotel Weitzer, we offer our guests the following complimentary services: a selection of daily newspapers at breakfast, access to our rooftop sauna and fitness area, a city map, and the use of our umbrellas (with a € 20 deposit).

If you wish, we’ll also be happy to provide an iron and ironing board, as well as a tea set with a kettle, in your room.

On the fifth floor, you’ll find our newly designed gym – complete with a one-of-a-kind rooftop sauna. All day long, you can work on your luxurious physique on the treadmill & co. Or simply enjoy a good sweat. The latter is also possible from 5  pm to 11 pm in our rooftop sauna.

Towels are provided on site, bathrobes can be borrowed, and flip-flops are yours for € 3 – both available at the reception.

For our laundry service, we work with a reliable external partner who is available for you from Monday to Friday. Simply drop off your laundry at the reception by 9 am  – we’ll take care of the rest.

If you prefer to do the ironing yourself, we’re happy to assist as well: upon request, we’ll provide an iron and ironing board in your room.

Bicycles and e‑Vespas are available for rent at the reception. For just € 10 per day per bike, or € 35 per day for an e‑Vespa, you can zip through Graz like the wind. And if you feel like heading north or south, simply follow the Mur Cycle Path – it starts right outside our door. A bicycle or Vespa helmet is, of course, included free of charge.

Smokers are very welcome at Hotel Weitzer! However, to ensure the comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask you not to smoke inside the hotel, in the restaurant “Der Steirer”, or in the rooms. If you’d like to enjoy a smoke during your stay, we recommend booking one of our rooms with a balcony – there, you can relax and indulge undisturbed.

For everyone’s safety, our fire alarms are highly sensitive – they can’t tell the difference between a cigarette and an e‑cigarette. Please note that smoking in the room will incur a cleaning fee of € 70, and € 500 in case a fire alarm is triggered.

Since smoking already has its own FAQ – including details about our sensitive fire alarm – there’s just one more thing to be aware of: the alarm also reacts to excessive steam in the bathroom. So please be careful when showering with the bathroom door open – too much hot steam might set it off. A triggered fire alarm and a visit from the fire brigade would cost € 500.

Forgot a little something at home? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! You can find toiletries, snacks, drinks, and much more in our 24/7 open micro-shop in the lobby of the Dream Machine rooms.

In our restaurant – or rather in the “Steirer Shop” – you can, for example, purchase many of the country’s finest wines. Our fantastic Daniel and Grand Ferdinand soaps and lotions are also available at the reception.”

Room to room: For room numbers below 100, dial 7 + room number (e.g. Room 08 = 708, Room 73 = 773). For room numbers from 100 upwards, simply dial the room number.

External calls: Pick up the receiver, dial 0, wait for the dial tone, then enter the number.

Wake-up call: Dial *55, then enter the four-digit time you’d like to wake up. For example: 0700 for 7:00 am or 1900 for 7:00 pm.

Your room will be ready for you from 2 pm on the day of arrival. On departure day, it’s yours until 11 am. If you’d like to arrive a little earlier or stay a little longer, just check with reception — we’ll see what’s possible. And for all late risers or slow leavers, we offer a late check-out at 2 pm for € 20 or 4 pm for € 40. Or you might simply stay another night — just an idea. Guests who book directly with us also enjoy a few extra perks.

Absolutely! Furry friends with paws and snouts are warmly welcome at our hotel. For dogs, we charge a supplement of € 18 per night and per dog. Your room will be prepared with two bowls — one filled with fresh Styrian water and one ready for your dog’s food.

Thanks to our location right by the River Mur, you’ll find wonderful walking paths nearby, and the spacious Augarten Park is just a short stroll away. In Graz, “Sackerl fürs Gackerl” bags are provided free of charge, and there’s even a dispenser conveniently placed right in front of our hotel on Entenplatz.

We kindly ask for your understanding that the breakfast area is pet‑free, so your companion will have to chill in the room while you enjoy your morning coffee.

And should a little accident happen — say, an artistic “free‑form stain” on the carpet — we reserve the right to charge for any extra cleaning costs.

For families and extra guests, our prices are as follows:

• Children from 0 to 2.99 years: € 12 per night for a baby cot, including breakfast.
• Children from 3 to 13.99 years: € 40 per night for the extra bed, plus € 11 for breakfast.
• Guests aged 14 and older (including adults): € 60 per night for the extra bed, plus € 22 for breakfast.

Please let us know in advance if you’re travelling with children or an additional person, so we can prepare your room accordingly.

Yes, generally you can — you can book a room without providing a credit card. However, please note that reservations without a credit card guarantee may be released after 6 pm on the day before arrival. If you’d like to keep your room secured, please contact our reservations team at +43 (0) 316 703 – 400 or send an email to reservations@weitzer.com. On high-demand dates, such as New Year’s Eve, a credit card is generally required — or you can secure your booking by prepayment. Your credit card details are used solely as a guarantee; your account will not be charged at the time of booking. Payment is made upon check‑out — or, in case of a no‑show or late cancellation, according to our cancellation policy.

With our daily rate, you can cancel your reservation free of charge until 6 pm on the day of arrival. On special dates – such as public holidays, congresses, or major events – longer cancellation periods may apply. We recommend simply checking your booking confirmation, where you’ll find the exact cancellation policy for your reservation.
