FAQs

We’re happy to help.
1

Where can I find the hotel “Das Weitzer” and how do I get there?

Our address is Grieskai 12-14, 8020 Graz. For exact directions, please use Google Maps. It’s definitely quicker and clearer than explaining the route using all four points of the compass.

2

Where's the hotel car park, how much does parking cost and can I reserve a parking space?

You can find Citygarage Weitzer right next to our hotel – just drive down Grieskai another 30 metres and at the blue “City Garage Weitzer” sign on your right side drive down the underground parking entrance. You’re welcome to drop off your luggage in front of the hotel first, and then we’ll show you the way ourselves. Please take a parking ticket at the car park entrance*.

You’ll receive an exit ticket at reception. The regular 24-hour ticket costs € 31.50. For discount ticket (€ 18.-) please check our direct booking advantages! For detailed information go to “service”.

Unfortunately, we can’t offer reservations, but they’re not really necessary. After all, it’s a public car park and there’s always enough space.

*Maximum height of the entrance 2.10 m – entrance not permitted with gas-powered vehicles or trailers.

3

Dou you also have charging stations for e-vehicles?

Yes, there are 5 parking spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles available in the Citygarage Weitzer. These can be used on request and subject to availability and charging costs € 0.075 per minute.

4

Do you also offer valet parking?

You know your car best, that’s why we’d rather you took responsibility for it. In addition, our car park is almost a must-see in itself, with its own art installation at the entrance. You’ll only find something like that at the hotel “Das Weitzer”.

5

How do I get to the hotel using public transport from the train station or the airport?

Tramlines 1, 4, 6 and 7 stop at the train station. All four bring you to us by the same route. Get off the tram at Südtirolerplatz/Kunsthaus, and from there, it’s just a few steps. From the airport, you can take bus line 630/631 to get here. You get off at Griesplatz and go along Griesgasse to the hotel. Price per person: € 3.

6

Does the hotel have WiFi, and how much does it cost?

First answer: yes. Second answer: nothing. Or in a little more detail: In all hotel rooms and throughout the whole hotel – from the lobby to the seminar rooms and restaurants – you can access the Internet very easily, using WiFi. Free access for our guests. Of course!

7

What's the WiFi password?

That’s simple: Weitzer8020

Is there an A/C and heating in the room?

Yes, of course!  Some love it, some hate it. Since we don’t know which group you belong to, we leave it up to you to regulate the room temperature.
